Men! The definition of "jewelry"

The official first day of summer is June 21st and that means short-sleeve weather! As we approach this long-awaited time (everyone outside of California and Arizona) I wanted to talk about men's jewelry since this is a great time to start wearing some.

For most guys, "jewelry" equates to something made from precious metals; bracelets and necklaces forged from gold and silver, with rubies and sapphires to boot. And that's exactly the reason most men don't wear jewelry. Granted, I do agree that thick gold chains and gigantic pendants are not the way to go. To me, jewelry is whatever accessory that compliments who you are and your style. There's a fantastic quote from the film-maker Orson Welles that goes like this, "Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn." Amen.

So for the Summer/Spring season, the Walking Exhibit is coming up with accessories that will look better and better with age and wear. That means leather and more leather - but with a unique twist that brings out our brand's musical flavor.

The combination of brass and black leather is a killer look. Understated but definitely unique, it's quite masculine; the perfect piece for the man who is just starting to wear jewelry.

From the office to date night - everywhere, except the showers.

The collection of jewelry will start hitting our Etsy shop in the next couple of weeks so keep your eyes peeled!
